What is the NDIS?

NDIS is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a Federal Government funding scheme that provides support to eligible Australians living with disability  across all states and capital in Australia. The NDIS is designed to give participants control over their required support. It is designed to help people with their fundamental needs, build independence and improve their personal skill.

What does an NDIS plan look like?

Everyone’s plan will be different, because it’s unique to your needs. The NDIA will ask questions about your lifestyle, your goals, and what kind of support you need so that a plan can be tailored to suit you.

Each year, you can review your plan with the NDIA to make sure you’re receiving the right supports. If needed, you can request one sooner.

For more information about the NDIS call 1800 800 110, or click on the NDIS button.
